The Institute of Groundsmanship’s Turfcare Advisory Service is an easy-to-use service offering a wide range of advice, from basic playing surface problems to the design and construction of playing surfaces. The service provides simple solutions to problems such as the identification of pests and diseases, grasses, health and safety issues, the correct types of playing surface maintenance programmes, machine buying and maintenance, as well as help and advice with applications for funding.
The service can be accessed by completing either an online request form; or calling the IOG Head office number (+44 (0) 1908 312511; or the request form can be posted to IOG Head Office; 28 Stratford Office Village, Walker Avenue, Wolverton Mill East, Milton Keynes, MK12 5TW. Once the request form is received by Head Office, an advisor will be allocated to your request and will make contact with you to discuss the advice/solution required.
All the advice given will be supported by an easy-to-follow report which will clearly identify the course(s) of action recommended.
All of the advisors used by the IOG are/have been practising groundsmen and women with all the necessary skills required to develop a simple, affordable solution to a problem.
